The invention relates to an arrangement for producing foodstuff products (4) with pasty feedstock, particularly sausages, with a casing (10) that can be filled with the feedstock via a filling tube (8) of a filling device (6) during which the casing area being filled draws another casing material (10) from a stock (14). The arrangement has a sensor device (20) that, when an activation position is reached, detects markings (16, 16') recurring on the casing (10) at intervals whereby the sensor device (20) outputs an activation signal. The arrangement also comprises a closing device (36) that, after the filling of a final amount is completed, closes the end (34) of the casing (10) that has just been filled whereby closing the beginning (12) of the next casing (10) to be filled. According to the invention, an immobilizing brake (24) is provided that can occupy a stop position that completely prevents the drawing of the casing (10), and a first connection (22) between the sensor device (20) and the immobilizing brake (24), via which that immobilizing brake (24) is activated by the activation signal, causes the immobilizing brake to occupy the stop position until the filling device (6) informs, by means of an end signal over a second connection (32), the immobilizing brake (24) of the completion of the filling of a predeterminable filling amount, whereby the predeterminable filling amount corresponds to the final filling amount or portions thereof. The invention also relates to a corresponding production method, to a foodstuff casing to be used, and to the obtained foodstuff product.
