The invention relates to an electrical power supply arrangement in which a capacitor having a lower internal resistance, particularly a super capacitor (3), is connected via a means for charging (4) to an input (1) and via a load current controller (9) to a connecting means (7) for an electrical load (8). Together with a feedback path, a control loop for the load current is formed by the electrical load (8). This makes a flash bulb operation possible in applications, e.g. mobile telephones, in batteries having a high internal resistance, whereby a high utilization of energy of the capacitor is provided during a controlled discharge with controlled current.
