A method of Ethernet switching, including: dividing the communication time of output section of every Ethernet port into at least 2 same size time slots, determining the output time slot of the Ethernet port which corresponding to the L2/L3 information of the fixed size Ethernet frame to be exchanged, exchanging said fixed size Ethernet frame to the time-division switching output queue maintained by the determined time slot of the Ethernet port, cyclically outputting said Ethernet frame of the time-division switching output queue maintained by the every time slot via the Ethernet port. An Ethernet switching device is also provided and thus can meet the requirement of transmission delay of same velocity ratio time-division service transmission.
