    Abstract: A method of Ethernet switching, including: dividing the communication time of output section of every Ethernet port into at least 2 same size time slots, determining the output time slot of the Ethernet port which corresponding to the L2/L3 information of the fixed size Ethernet frame to be exchanged, exchanging said fixed size Ethernet frame to the time-division switching output queue maintained by the determined time slot of the Ethernet port, cyclically outputting said Ethernet frame of the time-division switching output queue maintained by the every time slot via the Ethernet port. An Ethernet switching device is also provided and thus can meet the requirement of transmission delay of same velocity ratio time-division service transmission.

    Abstract: A method for synchronous time division switch is provided by the present invent, and the said method includes the following steps: with the transmission time of single byte as an unit, the time for receiving and transmitting each Ethernet frame of fixed length in the Ethernet port is divided respectively to input slots and output slots, and the input slots and output slots are numbered respectively in turn; the data is received circularly according to the number of input slots through the Ethernet port; the data received in each input slot is interchanged to the corresponding output slot; according to the number of output slots, the data is transmitted circularly through the Ethernet port. An equipment for synchronous time division switch and two kinds of equipment for the Ethernet switch are also provided by the present invent. By using the method for synchronous time division switch in the present invent and making synchronous time division switch in the Ethernet, the cost of synchronous time division switch will be depressed.

    Abstract: A method for implementing on-ring process and off-ring process of RPR ringnet which is compatible with the layer 2 and the layer 3. The on-ring process method comprises that the Ethernet data frames are encapsulated with local mode or remote mode respectively according to whether the source MAC address and the destination MAC address of the Ethernet data frame can be found in the MAC address table of the ring node or in the mapping table of host MAC address and RPR node, and according to whether the destination address of the Ethernet data frame is a unicast address or a non-unicast address. The method for implementing off-ring process includes that the RPR frame is reassembled to the Ethernet data frame according to the forwarding mode of the RPR data frame, and the learning for the correspondence of the source host address and the RPR node address is implemented according to the Flooding flag and the forwarding mode of the RPR data frame. There is also a data forwarding method of RPR dual-adscription network and the network devices implementing the on-ring process and the off-ring process.

    Abstract: An apparatus is for multiplexing and demultiplexing in physical layer of the Ethernet.
