Abstract:
The present invention provides apparatus for performing a processing operation on a web (114), the apparatus comprising: a processing apparatus having two substantially identical processing regions; and aligning means enabling the web to be aligned selectively with either the first or the second processing region; the arrangement being such that, in the event of a defect occurring in the processing apparatus- in one of the processing regions, the web can be realigned with the other processing region.
