Abstract:
The invention refers to a flexible package comprising a plurality of walls including first and second opposing side walls (2,3) having side seams (19,39). At least a first gusset (12) is formed in at least the first side wall, the first gusset comprising an internal panel (13) and an external panel (14) together forming a pocket. At least the first side wall comprises tearing means (11) which is at least partially formed in or through the external panel. The tearing means is adapted to create an opening in the first side wall.
