The present invention relates to a dishwashing machine (1,1 ') of the type comprising at least one tub which can house a rack (9,9'A,9'B) that can be loaded with crockery to be subjected to the cleaning action of a wash liquid, wherein said tub is at least partially delimited at the bottom by a sink (2,2'), and wherein said dishwashing machine (1,1 ') comprises a wall-mounted draining cabinet (3,3'A,3'B) which can translate vertically above said sink (2,2') from a first position remote from the sink, where it stays on the vertical of the latter, to a second position near the sink (2,2'), where it delimits said wash chamber at the top.
