Abstract:
A hydraulic fan circuit (10) includes a primary pump (14), a motor (18) fluidly connected to the primary pump (14), and a fan (20) operably connected to and driven by the motor (18). The circuit (10) also includes a supply passage (26) extending from the primary pump (14) to the motor (18), a return passage (24) extending from the motor (18) to the primary pump (14), and a pressure limiting valve (54) configured to selectively reduce pressure of a flow of pilot fluid directed to the primary pump (14). The circuit (10) further includes an override valve (66) configured to selectively connect the supply passage (26) to the pressure limiting valve (54).
