Abstract:
A bi-metallic mechanically lined pipe (112a, 112b; MLP) has an outer pipe (114) of a first carbon steel based material, and an inner liner (116) of a second corrosion resistant material, wherein the inner liner (116) is metallurgically bonded to the outer pipe (114) at the extremities (17) of the outer pipe (114). A method of manufacturing such kind of MLP pipe is also defined.
