Abstract:
The present invention relates to fragrance, wich is 2,4,7-trimethyl-2,6- octadienal, suitable as a substituent of Citral (3,7-dimethyl-2,6- octadienal). The invention relates furthermore to fragranced products, essentially free of Citral but reminiscent of the odor and performance of Citral nevertheless.
