Long-acting formulations comprising isopropyl ((S)-((((R)-l-(6-amino-9H-purin-9- yl)propan-2-yl)oxy)methyl)(phenoxy)phosphoryl)-L-alaninate, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a biodegradable polymer, e.g. poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA), are described, as are methods of making the long acting formulations and uses thereof.
