The invention relates to a terminally heat-sterilized multi-chamber container for parenteral nutrition, comprising a first chamber containing a macronutrient formulation and a second chamber comprising a vitamin B12 formulation, wherein the vitamin B12 formulation (a) is essentially free from glucose, amino acids, vitamin B1, ascorbyl palmitate and/or vitamin C; and (b) stably comprises vitamin B12 for at least 6 months at a temperature of from 1°C to 40°C and/or for at least 24 months at a temperature of 25°C.
