POWER SAVING OPERATION IN CARRIER AGGREGATION
Abstract:
A wireless device receives, from a base station, a first radio resource control (RRC) message indicating a request for radio access capabilities of the wireless device. A second RRC message is transmitted to the base station and includes information of the radio access capabilities for power saving operations. The information includes: a first parameter indicating whether the wireless device supports skipping a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring on an active bandwidth part, and a second parameter indicating whether the wireless device supports switching PDCCH monitoring among search space groups of the active bandwidth part. The wireless device receives, from the base station, a third RRC message including configuration parameters, based on the first parameter and the second parameter, for the power saving operations.
