The method also includes, for at least one receive antenna of the second number of receive antennas, applying a forward path model including a non-linear component corresponding to a transmit path in the transceiver, and applying an equalizer function to a first signal to be transmitted by at least one transmit antenna of the first number of transmit antennas determine a self-interference (SI) estimate; and subtracting, in SIC circuitry, the SI estimate from the signal received via at least one receive antenna of the second number of receive antennas to obtain an residual signal.
