摘要： A trigger having a pawl operates a nozzle valve via a valve stem in a nozzle barrel bore. A spring in the barrel bore normally biases the valve closed. A toothed ratchet lever is pivotally resiliently secured to a trigger guard which protects the trigger from accidental activation. A ratchet tooth in an array of teeth on the lever engages the pawl to hold the trigger in a selected spray position of the valve, the teeth being normally biased disengaged by a second spring. The teeth each have a sharp crest which digs into the trigger in response to the spring bias on the valve stem overcoming the disengagement bias on the ratchet from the second spring. The nozzle is closed by squeezing the trigger to release the ratchet and pawl engagment such that the ratchet lever is pivoted to a disengement position by the second spring. The assembly comprises metal components in contact with hot fluid but which are thermally insulated with an outer casing spaced from the components by an air gap.

摘要： A flag seal comprises a thermoplastic socket, flag and shackle molded one piece. A metal locking tang element may optionally be molded into the socket. The shackle has a weakening groove. A finger gripping loop member extends about the flag both of which are flexible for receiving a finger. The gripping loop member provides enhanced finger gripping of the seal to pull on the seal to fracture the seal at the shackle weakening groove with an increased tensile load than otherwise possible.

摘要： The present invention is related to a method providing an improvement of the washing performance for the washing machines with horizontally positioned tubs and drums by making the drum movements intermittent and with modulating oscillation. In the method according to the present invention, the rotations of any drum used for washing are realized as intermittent and with variable oscillations, the rotational speed of the said drum being increased or reduced with the desired acceleration rate that may be variable and this movement can be stopped at any desired angle thus obtaining the intended falling angles and heights at the desired cylces and by creating the desired velocity differences between water and clothes to be washed, as the result of these movements, the washing performance is improved by means of various drum movements. Said drum movements are realized by means of the washing programmes selected with regard to the type of textile to be washed. While washing wool, the requirement of keeping the material to be washed continuously in water is met using less water by keeping said drum movements between given limit values.
