    摘要： The invention relates to an elastic fixing element and a coherent arrangement of such elements. Said elastic fixing elements are especially used to hold together first and second especially rectilinear elements, such as a vine stem or a branch and a supporting metallic wire. The inventive elastic element comprises a closed loop, a head, and a neck which connects the head to the closed loop. The head is extended by an upper protrusion. The closed loop is extended by a lower protrusion, enabling the elastic element to be manually positioned around the elements to be fixed.

    摘要： A bundle tie or strap has a locking device (2) provided with a through-going channel, in which locking device there is secured an elongate strip (1). The strip (1) and the channel have counterdirected teeth (4 and 10, respectively), whereby the strip (1) is insertable in the channel but not withdrawable therefrom. For infeed of the strip (1) in the channel and for tightening, there is pivotally connected to the locking device (2) a feeder crank (3) with teeth (12) on a circle sector shaped portion (11). The bundle tie is manufactured in its entirety in the opened state by injection moulding in one single continuous piece.

    摘要： A plastic strap particularly useful for automated strapping machines is formed with an integrated, longitudinally disposed rib for enhancing the stiffness of the strap. The strap is formed with at least one rib extending longitudinally from a first end of the strap to a second end of the strap. The rib preferably extends upwardly from the top surface of the strap and comprises, preferably, a slight arcuate profile. The profile of the rib, the number of ribs, and the location of the ribs on the strap may vary depending upon the desired longitudinal stiffness of the strap and the desired width and thickness of the strap. The ribs may be centered across the width the strap or offset. The strap further comprises side panels that are parallel to the longitudinal plane of the strap and outer edges that are generally perpendicular to the longitudinal plane of the strap. The geometry of the strap prevents the strap from twisting and permits overlapping sections of the strap to interlock and self-align during sealing. The rib is formed by passing the heated strap through a rolling mechanism configured to form the desired rib profile in the strap while exerting compressive forces on the side panels of the strap.

    摘要： A tie (11) for use in pairing together two objects. The tie (11) comprising a head (21) having an elongated channel (27) extending therethrough, a locking tang (29) within the head (21), and a strap (31) having a length of approximately 63.3 cm. The strap (31) comprises a first end integrally formed onto the head (21) and a second end. A projection (49) is formed on the strap (31) between the first end and the second end. The elongated filament (139) is narrow in thickness, narrow in width and has a generally uniform, rectangularly-shaped croos-section. In one embodiment, the portion of the strap (31) from the projection (49) to the second end is formed in a ladder structure having a plurality of rungs (37), the rungs (37) of the strap (31) are sequentiylly engaged by the locking tang (29) when the strap (31) is inserted into and through the elongated channel (27) to form a closed loop. The projection (49) serves as a stop to limit the minimum size of the closed loop which can be formed when the strap (31) is inserted into the head (21).

    摘要： A flag seal comprises a thermoplastic socket, flag and shackle molded one piece. A metal locking tang element may optionally be molded into the socket. The shackle has a weakening groove. A finger gripping loop member extends about the flag both of which are flexible for receiving a finger. The gripping loop member provides enhanced finger gripping of the seal to pull on the seal to fracture the seal at the shackle weakening groove with an increased tensile load than otherwise possible.
