    摘要: The invention relates to a printing method for producing a security element (1). A substrate (2) has a watermark (5) which modulates the opacity of the substrate (2). A printed element (9) which at least partly covers the watermark (5) and contains at least one first and a second color layer (9, 22) is applied onto a front face (3). The first color layer (9) can be ablated by means of a first specified radiation (10) and the second color layer (22) cannot. The specified radiation (10) is emitted through the substrate (2) from the rear face (4), and the first color layer (9) is ablated by the specified radiation (10). The watermark (5) is used as an intensity mask in order to modify the printed element in register with the watermark (5). The first color layer (9) is a remitting colorant, and the second color layer (22) is a luminescent colorant, the first color layer (9) covering the second color layer (22). Because the first color layer (9) is ablated by the specified radiation (10) using the watermark (5) as a mask, the second color layer (22) is exposed at some locations (46) such that the luminescent effect of the second color layer is stronger at these locations (46).
