A spraying boom is described for distributing organic liquid fertilizer such as slurry using a tractor-drawn or self-propelled tanker, preferably in the form of a drag hose boom. The spraying boom comprises a main frame and two side wings mounted thereon, which are divided into several sections. The sections are mutually swivelling for repositioning between a transport position, in which the side wings are arranged in planes that are broadly parallel to the tanker's direction of forward motion, and a working position in which at least some sections of the side wings are swivelled to a position broadly at right angles to the transport position. The spraying boom comprises hose holders, on which application hoses are mounted, and a hydraulic system with actuators for swivelling the spraying boom sections. Between each section and between the sections and the main frame, sensors are fitted for determining the mutual position between the sections and between the sections and the main frame. The sensors are connected to a computer which, on the basis of the input from the sensors, generates an output for controlling valves in the hydraulic system for activating the relevant actuators. As a result, the sections can be folded individually and automatically without manual intervention.

The invention concerns a rear guard (109) for a spreader (104) for spreading natural fertilisers, as e.g. manure or compost, the spreader including comminuting means (105) for cutting up and comminuting the natural fertiliser as well as spreading means (107), where the rear guard is adapted for disposition behind the comminuting means and above the spreading means. The rear guard on the spreader according to the invention includes at least one conveying surface (203) which conveys the comminuted natural fertiliser in direction against the spreading means. The rear guard is furthermore adapted to be disposed so that at least one conveying surface is inclined in relation to the plane defined by the comminuting means. This rear guard may include a rotating belt, a vibrating surface or a super-smooth surface. Furthermore, between the rear guard and comminuting means there is provided a space which is narrowed in direction against the spreading means. Hereby is achieved a continuous and even feeding of all comminuted material down onto the spreading means with consequently large spreading width, and it is also prevented that the material clogs and blocks the spreader.

The implement frame is divided into two implement sections (11) that are pivotably interconnected in order to be pivoted between a horizontal working position and a vertical transport position. At each side of two implement sections (11) there is provided a side wing (12) that supports soil working tools (7), and which can be pivoted or displaced between an inner transport position and an outer working position in order to increase the working width of the implement. Hereby is achieved a large working width and at the same time reduced tool height and a high ground clearance when transporting the implement.
