Abstract: Described are compositions and catalytic articles comprising both a first molecular sieve promoted with copper and a second molecular sieve promoted with iron, the first and second molecular sieves having a d6r unit and the first molecular sieves having cubic shaped crystals with an average crystal size of about 0.5 to about 2 microns. The weight ratio of the copper-promoted molecular sieve to the iron-promoted molecular sieve can be about 1:1 to about 4:1. The catalytic articles are useful in methods and systems to catalyze the reduction of nitrogen oxides in the presence of a reductant.

Abstract: Provided herein are zoned catalysts that utilize components efficiently in that relatively short zones are provided to achieve specific functionalities to convert and/or trap one or more components in the exhaust stream. Highly controlled zoned are formed from one end of a monolithic carrier. The zones have a flat profile such that the zoned catalytic material within each passage of the substrate is at a substantially uniform distance from one end of the carrier. Methods of making and using the same are also provided.

Abstract: Catalysts and catalytic articles for treating exhaust gas streams are described. In one or more embodiments, a catalyst system includes a first zone to abate nitrogen oxides by selective catalytic reduction, a second zone to oxidize ammonia and a third zone to oxidize carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons. Methods for treating the exhaust gas stream are also provided. Methods of making and using such catalysts and catalytic articles are also described.
