摘要： An underpants-type disposable diaper includes outer members 12F and 12B having stretchable regions A2 and A3 disposed adjacent to the inner edges of the side seal portions 12A in the width direction. The stretchable regions A2 and A3 include multiple elongated elastically stretchable members 19 disposed between two sheet layers 12S and 12H at predetermined intervals in the front-back direction and extending in the width direction. The elastically stretchable members 19 each include two fixed ends 19f fixed to the two sheet layers 12S and 12H, and the section between the fixed ends 19f is unfixed to the two sheet layers 12S and 12H. The two sheet layers 12S and 12H are welded into sheet bonding sections 20, at positions between the elastically stretchable members 19 in the stretchable regions A2 and A3 adjacent in the front-back direction. No sheet bonding section protrudes from the side seal portion in the stretchable regions A2 and A3.

Provided is an absorbent article including an absorbent element (50) obtained by wrapping an absorbent body (56) in a wrapping sheet (58), wherein the wrapping sheet (58) includes an intermediate part (58m) located on one side of a front side and a back side of the absorbent body (56) and both side parts (58s) folded back to the other side of the absorbent body (56) from the intermediate part (58m), the both side parts (58s) are overlapped with each other on the other side of the absorbent body (56), an over lapped part is bonded through a hot melt adhesive (H3) to form a connecting portion (58c), at least a surface of the absorbent body (56) on a side of the connecting portion (58c) is bonded to an internal surface of the wrapping sheet (58) through hot melt adhesives (H1 and H2), and the connecting portion (58c) of the wrapping sheet (58) extends in a width direction to extend over both widthwise sides of a slit (54) provided in the absorbent body (56).-

摘要： A method of producing an underpants-type disposable diaper includes forming an outer member (12) having a non-stretchable region (A1) disposed in an intermediate region in the width direction and stretchable regions (A2) disposed on the two sides of the non-stretchable region in the width direction by: fixing elastic members with a hot-melt adhesive agent (H1) to an inner sheet layer (12H) and an outer sheet layer (12S) in at least two edge portions of portions to be the stretchable regions without fixing the elastic members to the inner sheet layer nor the outer sheet layer in a portion to be the non-stretchable region; disposing a graphic sheet (25) and disposing a no-extra-sheet region (A3) between the inner sheet layer and the outer sheet layer in the side portion of the non-stretchable region, the no-extra-sheet region containing no other sheet; cutting the elastic members (15 to 17) and leaving cut marks (22) and idle elastic members (19) over the no-extra-sheet region; and leaving the elastic members in a region overlapping with the graphic sheet uncut.
