Therefore, by preferring the logic link and allowing for the impact caused by the available bandwidth and the quantity of wavelength links in the existing logic links onto routing, the bandwidth resources of the network are utilized most efficiently.

A method and system for implementing group call service in network cluster communication technical art, which method comprises: firstly, the base station controller (BSC) allocating a dedicated physical control channel (SDCCH) for a call-initiated mobile station (MS); the call-initiated MS accessing the network and making a request for group call; establishing the control connection of the group call and establishing a group call channel for each cell within the group call area; then, assigning the call-initiated MS to the group call channel from the SDCCH, and releasing the resource on the SDCCH occupied by the call-initiated MS. With the invention, the group call service could be initiated by means of a single channel, and there only needs one TCH channel acting as the group call channel during the call initiation, without the need of any additional TCH available to the initiator, therefore the problem of channel wasting in the standard VGCS initiation mode could be solved.
