摘要： The present invention relates to a device for, during traveling with a vehicle, classifying a distance of a way along which the vehicle is traveling. The device comprises means for dividing the distance into segments, means for determining that a segment has been started, means for determining a reference direction of movement, means for, during said segment, receiving at least one direction parameter value, which constitutes a representation of the direction of movement of the vehicle, or by which a representation of the direction of the movement of the vehicle can be determined, means for deciding whether the vehicle has reached the end of the segment, and means for determining the type of segment from said received direction parameter values starting from predetermined criteria. The device also relates to a vehicle.
