摘要:
A method in a first wireless device for handling Device to Device, D2D, communication between the first wireless device and a second wireless device is provided. The first wireless device sends a beacon signal to be received by the second wireless device. The beacon signal announces that the first wireless device is available for D2D communication. The beacon signal is sent on a first channel where the first wireless device is interfered. The beacon signal indicates that no response to the beacon signal shall be sent on the first channel.
摘要:
A method in a network node for allocating to user equipments a respective carrier is provided. The carrier is a frequency carrier for wireless communication. The network node is comprised in a cellular network. The network node identifies (202) a set of carriers. The carriers in the set of carriers each are associated with a respective geographic handover region for handover between cells. The geographic handover regions of the carriers differ from each other more than a threshold. When the network node has identified (203) a group of user group of user equipments with correlated mobility pattern, it allocates (204) to at least two of the user equipments within the group of user equipments a respective carrier. The allocation is performed such that the at least two user equipments in the group are spread among the carriers in the set of carriers.

Method and apparatus are provided for processing a received signal for making a symbol estimate of a symbol included in a signal transmitted in a Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) system. In an example mode, the method comprises (1 ) providing at least a subset of precoding matrices which are candidates for use in transmission of an interfering signal in a MIMO system; (2) using the received signal and plural candidates of the subset to determine corresponding plural covariance matrices, each of the plural covariance matrices being formed using a corresponding candidate precoding matrix; (3) determinig which of the candidates is a trace minimizing candidate which is associated with one of the plural covariance matrices that has a minimum trace value; (4) forming a weighting matrix using the trace minimizing candidate; and (5) using the weighting matrix to make the symbol estimation.
