摘要： A barrier mount system which opens and closes a barrier such as a gate or garage door (14) in response to user generated commands. An obstruction detection apparatus (34, 90, 110, 122) is provided for safety of operation. When an obstruction is sensed, the barrier movement system is inhibited from responding to user generated commands until a predetermined event occurs. The event may be passage of a predetermined amount of time or barrier movement of a particular amount.
