    摘要: A forced-fusion fuse (4) has a casing (28), a heat generating material (29) within the casing, a resistance wire (30) for inducing a heat generation reaction to occur in the heat generating material (29), and a fusion member that is fused by the generation of heat from the heat generating material. When some damage or other has been caused to a wire harness or there is the fear that an impairment will occur therein as when the wire harness has been slight short-circuited, some abnormality or other has occurred in a load connected to the wire harness, or an automobile has collided with another automobile, the sensor unit senses this to thereby output an abnormality detection signal. A controller, upon receipt of the abnormality detection signal, causes the generation of heat in the resistance wire (30) of the forced-fusion fuse. A heat generation reaction is induced, by the generation of heat in the resistance wire, to occur in the heat generating material, whereby the fusion member is fused by the heat generated from the heat generating material.

In accordance with a rotating position of the rotating terminal, the pair of fixed terminals can be switched between an electrically-conducting condition, in which the pair of fixed terminals are electrically connected together through the rotating terminal, and an interrupting condition in which the pair of fixed terminals are not electrically connected together through the rotating terminal.

    摘要: A reset knob 20 is mounted to a tip end of a shaft 16. A torsion spring 21 and a returning motion-preventing lock 22 are bent and accommodated in the reset knob 20. The returning motion-preventing lock 22 can rotate around a reset-knob fulcrum 20a of the reset knob 20 by a load of the torsion spring 21. Therefore, the returning motion-preventing lock 22 jumps out from inside of the reset knob 20 which is firmly connected together with the shaft 16 by a force of the torsion spring 21, thereby preventing the shaft 16 and the reset knob 20 from returning to an initial position. Further, since the returning motion-preventing lock 22 can easily be accommodated in the reset knob 20 manually, a reset operation for returning the shaft 16 to its original initial position can be carried out easily.

    摘要: A fuse block 1 includes a fuse box 2 and a high voltage fuse 3. The fuse box 2 has a high voltage mounting part 6. The high voltage mounting part 6 is provided with an opening 6a, a plurality of surrounding walls 7a, 7b, and projections 8. Each of the projections 8 is projected from both the surrounding walls 7a, 7b which are adjacent to each other into an interior of the high voltage mounting part 6. A rated voltage fuse cannot be mounted to the high voltage mounting part 6 because of the presence of the projections 8. The high voltage fuse 3 includes a housing 10 having outer walls 14a, 14b and recesses 13. Each of the recesses 13 is formed by denting both the outer walls 14a, 14b which are adjacent to each other. When the high voltage fuse 3 is mounted to the high voltage mounting part 6, the recesses 13 and the projections 8 will not interfere with each other.

The base body 15 is formed with an engaging projection 25. The resilient locking arm 23 and the engaging projection 25 are engaged with each other at an initial position of the shaft, thereby forming an engaging portion B between the base body 15 and the front cover 24. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the shaft from sliding by factor such as impact and vibration other than sublimation of the gas-starting agent, and to prevent the power circuit from being interrupted.
