    According to the present invention, there is provided a safety switch of a secondary battery for an electric vehicle, including: a cutting member 110 attached to one surface of any one secondary battery 10 in the secondary battery for the electric vehicle configured by connecting at least two secondary batteries and having a cutting body 112; and a cut member 120 attached to one surface of the other secondary battery 20 while facing the cutting member 110 including a cut body 123 approaching the cutting body 112 of the cutting member 110 and cut by the approaching cutting body 112 to electrically disconnect the secondary batteries, when the secondary batteries are expanded due to the swelling phenomenon.

A female housing 21 which contains a moving electrode 30 is fitted into the male housing 13, whereupon the moving electrode 30 contacts and straddles the fixed electrodes 14 to make a short circuit. The moving electrode 30 comprises in integral combination retainer pieces 32 that are retained in an electrode retainer tube 22 in the female housing 21, a contact lug 31 that either contacts or detaches from the fixed electrodes 14, and a narrow-width joint 33 that joints the retainer pieces 32 and the contact lug 31 to make an integral unit. The narrow-width joint 33 flexes to deform, thereby absorbing the positional offset that develops when the contact lug 31 comes into engagement with the fixed electrodes 14.

    摘要: The load disconnecting switch is connected with a contact installation (14, 15, 36) between a pole terminal (4) and a main circuit (8). By means of a manually operated switch arm (45), the contact installation can be locked in the closed state, whereby the locking takes place by means of a ratchet (39). This ratchet (39) is, on the other hand, coupled with the armature (28) of an electro-magnetic system (26, 27). In this way, in the case of a dysfunction, the contact installation can be unlocked by means of the electro-magnetic system, and the circuit interrupted. With this disconnecting switch, the electrical system of a motor vehicle can, in the case of an accident or a short circuit, be connected quickly and without current, so as to reduce fire risk, or in the case of another dysfunction, to prevent discharging of the battery.
