    摘要： A food processing device (10) has a housing (100) with a lid (110), a rotatable attachment [e.g. a basket (200) or beater (200")] therein, and a drive mechanism (300) in the lid (110) for rotating the attachment (200) to process food in the housing (100). The drive mechanism (300) has a manual actuator (310) and a gear train (320) for transmitting drive from the actuator (310) to rotate the attachment (200). The actuator (310) lies on an outer surface (116) of the lid (110) and is movable along the lid surface (116) in opposite directions between two positions to rotate the attachment (200) in one single direction. A ratchet assembly (400) in drive engagement with the gear train (320) enables transmission of rotational drive only in one single direction. A braking mechanism (500) is included for braking the attachment (200), which has a manual operator (310) and two braking shoes (510 & 520) for movement by the operator (310) to brake the attachment (200) by friction.

The drive mechanism (300) has a crank handle (310) and a drive transmission system provided between the handle (310) and the basket (200) to transmit rotational drive from the handle (310) to rotate the basket (200). The drive transmission system has a first rotary gear (320) arranged to receive drive from the handle (310) and a second rotary gear (330) in drive engagement with the first gear (320) for receiving drive from the first gear (320) to rotate the basket (200). The first and second gears (320 & 330) have corresponding serial formations e.g. recesses (321) and protrusions (331) of respective round cross-sections that are inter-engageable one in the other for drive transmission.

    摘要： A can opener (100) has two pivotable handle members (110 & 120) and a traction wheel (200) and a rotary cutter (300) movable by the handle members (110 & 120) respectively between an inoperative position in which the wheel (200) and cutter (300) are spaced apart for mounting onto a can and an operative position in which they are close together for turning and cutting the can. An operating lever (400) is pivotable back and forth. A first ratchet assembly (510) is driven by the lever (400) upon pivotal movement in one direction for rotating the wheel (200) in one direction. There is also a second ratchet assembly (520) driven by the lever (400) upon pivotal movement in the opposite direction for rotating the wheel (200) in the same direction, whereby upon said pivotal reciprocation the lever (400) rotates the wheel (200) in the same direction to operate the wheel (200) and cutter (300) continuously to turn and cut the can.
