摘要： A single-handedly operated citrus fruit segmenter having first and second arms such that squeezing the arms into a closed position causes a curved movable scoop to extend into a citrus fruit proximate to a triangular blade and form a segment-shaped compartment. The actuation of the curved movable scoop occurs by a user squeezing the first arm toward the second arm. A pin on the first arm is operatively connected to an elongated slot of a cam mechanism such that the rotation of the first arm about its pivot location causes the cam mechanism to rotate about its own pivot location. Therefore, the cam mechanism, being also connected to the curved movable scoop, forces the curved movable scoop into the citrus fruit.

Un certain nombre de lames épaisses (61) font saillie à partir d'un troisième anneau (52) en un morceau radialement à l'intérieur du cadre extérieur, pour constituer un cadre intérieur (68) ouvert, semi-sphérique. Chaque lame (67) comporte un bord extérieur, aiguisé pour râper l'intérieur de l'écorce (26), le cadre extérieur pouvant tourner autour du premier anneau (48), et le cadre intérieur étant barré de façon amovible sur le premier anneau. On peut diviser en quartiers la pulpe grâce aux bords coupant des couteaux (40), et l'on peut séparer l'écorce du fruit de sa pulpe au moyen des bords de râpage des lames (62).

摘要： A combined citrus press and zester. The citrus press is of a known type, and includes an upper handle and a lower handle joined at a forward pivot point. The lower handle includes a cup sized to receive a halved citrus fruit, such as a lemon or lime. The upper handle includes a male die which mates with said cup to compress and thus juice the halved fruit. To save material and weight, the male die is formed as relatively constant thickness, which results in a depression on the opposite, outer side of the upper handle. The citrus zester includes a body with a grating blade received or formed therein. The inner side of the body has a collar extending therefrom and surrounding the blade. This collar is sized to be received within the depression formed in the upper handle of the citrus press. The collar may be sized and formed such that the zester may be selectively mounted to the press.
