摘要: A printing apparatus has an ink-jet printing head (1) having one nozzle array (Bk, Y, M, C) for ejecting an ink, and the other nozzle array (S) for ejecting a printing improvement liquid containing a substance making a coloring agent in the ink insoluble or aggregation. When the printing improvement liquid is ejected in advance of ejection of the ink, the ejection speed of the ink is set to be lower than the ejection speed of the printing improvement liquid. When the ink is ejected in advance of ejection of the printing improvement liquid, the ejection speed of the printing improvement liquid is set to be lower than the ejection speed of the ink. The printing apparatus is capable of preventing ejection failure or deflection of the ejecting direction due to rebounding of the printing improvement liquid or mist thereof.

摘要: A printing apparatus includes a transport mechanism section which has a support surface that supports and transports a workpiece, a printing mechanism section which has an ink jet head that executes printing on the workpiece that is transported by the transport mechanism section, a detecting section which is provided further on the upstream side in the transport direction than the ink jet head and detects an upper surface position of the workpiece, an adjustment section which adjusts a separation distance between the support surface and the ink jet head, and a control section. In addition, the control section selects a first mode for printing and a second mode for stopping printing by adjusting the separation distance by operating the adjustment section based on a detection result of the detecting section.

摘要: Provision of a printing device having simple structure but being able to perform an exact and beautiful printing of designs and letters on a printed face of a doughnut-like shape such as a sidewall of a vehicular tire although.
The printing device having a turntable for turning a mounted printing object so that its printed face is directed upward, a printing head having a plurality of nozzles for spouting inks and being able to move toward a center of rotation of the printing object from outside the rotation of the printed face, and a controller provided for controlling a moving speed of the printing head, a rotating speed of the turntable, and spouting of the inks by the plurality of the nozzles, to perform a controlling operation in a manner such that a printing is spirally applied onto the printed face of the printing object by permitting the printing object mounted on the turntable to be rotated and by permitting the printing head to continuously move while allowing the plurality of the nozzles to spout therefrom the inks.

摘要: The technique of the present invention prevents a variation in hitting positions of two different types of ink droplets (IPs, IPm) ejected in two pixels, which adjoin each other in a main scanning direction, in response to a first driving pulse and a second driving pulse. The process of the invention drives each piezoelectric element on a print head in response to a driving signal, which may selectively include two different driving pulses in one recording cycle. When one dot is created in each of two adjoining pixels in the main scanning direction, either a driving signal A or a driving signal B is generated to control the dot creation. The driving signal A includes a first pulse in a first cycle and a second pulse in a second cycle, whereas the driving signal B includes the second pulse in the first cycle and the first pulse in the second cycle. The process regulates an ejecting speed (Vm1) of a small ink droplet (IPs) corresponding to the first pulse, an ejecting speed (Vm2) of large ink droplet (IPm) corresponding to the second pulse, and a variation in time difference between the ejecting timing of the first ink droplet and the ejecting timing of the second ink droplet in the case of a driving signal A and in the case of a driving signal B, according to a platen gap. This enables a distance (S3) between the hitting positions of the small ink droplet (IPs) and the large ink droplet (IPm) in the case of the driving signal A to be equal to a distance (S13) between the hitting positions of the small ink droplet (IPs) and the large ink droplet (IPm) in the case of the driving signal B.
