The distance between the protruding part (121) and the hinge part (130) at a position where the lid opening part (111) and the hinge part (130) are closest to each other is greater than or equal to five times the height of overlap of the protruding part (121) and the fitting part (112).

    SOLUTION
    An absorbent article 1 with an absorber 4 disposed between a permeable front surface sheet 3 and a rear surface sheet 2 of a non-woven fabric; wherein the front surface sheet 3 is provided with ridged convex portions 7, 7 continuing in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article 1 at a specified interval in the width direction of the absorbent article 1, and provided with dot-like concave embossments 8a, 8b at the right side adjacent position and the left side adjacent position alternately at an interval in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article 1 on the both sides of each of the convex portions 7, 7, and the concave embossments 8a, 8b are arranged in a zigzag pattern as a whole. The convex portion 7 is an inclined surface having a relatively steep gradient on one side and a relatively gentle gradient on the other side, and the cross-sectional shape of the convex portion 7 is an asymmetrical shape.
