摘要： A backpack frame (31) is molded integrally from composite fiber and resin material to provide a light yet strong frame. The frame (31) includes top and bottom members (40,41) and a pair of side members (42,43). A pair of vertical ribs (44,45) extend between the top and bottom members, and a plurality of horizontal members (46,47,48,49) extend between the side members. The frame has torsional flexibility about a longitudinal axis which is generally parallel to the side members. Each of the ribs has a generally kidney-shaped cross section which is provided by a groove (60) in the rib. A sack (32) is slidably attached to the frame by elongated beaded attaching members (64) which are sewn to the sack. Each bead (69) is slidably inserted into a key-hole shaped channel (62) in one of the side members. A suspension system includes shoulder straps (34,35), a waist belt (36), and a back pad (37). Each part of the suspension is formed from closed cell foam which is compression molded to form air-circulating grooves. One or both sides of the foam has a flame laminated skin.

摘要： A tent (10) is provided with a ventilator opening in one corner thereof. The tent includes a pair of side panels (11,12) which are secured together along a side seam (17) and a top panel (13) which is secured to the side panels along a top seam (18,19). One of the side panels is provided with an opening (30) adjacent the top and side seams, and a screen (32) covers the opening. A skirt (37) is secured to the top and side seams and includes a free edge which is spaced from the screen. A stiffener (41) is secured to the skirt adjacent the free edge thereof for maintaining the free edge away from the screen.

摘要： A liquid fuel campstove is provided with a piezoelectric ignition system. The campstove includes a liquid fuel tank (17), a burner assembly (18) having a fuel inlet (80) and fuel outlet (76) orifices, a generator tube (52) which is connected to the fuel tank and extends adjacent the burner assembly, and a U-shaped venturi tube (78) which extends from the generator (52) to the fuel inlet (80) of the burner assembly. A pilot tube (101) is inserted into the venturi tube and extends to adjacent the fuel outlet orifices of the burner assembly. The electrode (96) of the piezoelectric ignition system (90) is positioned adjacent the end (103) of the pilot tube.
