The methods and arrangements involve the control node indicating a set of allowed up link transmit diversity modes to the base station. Further, an up link transmit diversity mode for the mobile terminal is selected in the base station, from amongst the currently allowed up link transmit diversity modes; where the selection is based on information concerning the mobile terminal which is available in the base station. The base station then indicates the selected up link transmit diversity mode to the mobile terminal, which changes to the up link transmit diversity mode indicated by the base station. The methods and arrangements enable a faster and more flexible UE up link transmit diversity mode adaptation.

    摘要: The invention discloses a TDM scheduling method for scheduling uplink transmission in a cellular radio communication system, comprising: obtaining relevant parameters including an Uplink pilot quality for each TDM User Equipment in a cell and an available TDM load for TDM UEs in the cell; determining a TDM group size as a number of TDM UEs to be scheduled to transmit simultaneously in a Transmission Time Interval, TTI, by using the obtained relevant parameters; and scheduling the TDM UEs according to the determined TDM group size. The TDM UEs refer to the UEs to be scheduled according to the TDM scheduling method of the present invention in the cell. With the solution of the invention, the UL system performance can be improved. The proposed solution is easy to be implemented.

    摘要: In a radio access network (10) comprising a radio network controller node (26) and a base station node (28). a code tree has spreading codes which are allocatable between high speed downlink shared (HS-DSCH) channels and dedicated (DCH) channels. According to one aspect of the technology, use of the spreading codes of the code tree is monitored and an HS-DSCH channel is allocated a free spreading code which is non-adjacent to a spreading code already allocated to the HS-DSCH channels. In some example implementations, the free, non-adjacent spreading code is allocated so that more than one high speed channel user can use the spreading codes. In other example implementations, the free, non-adjacent spreading code is allocated so that one user uses the spreading codes by using more than one HS-SCCH channel. Preferably the non-adjacent spreading code is released from the HS-DSCH channel when the non- adjacent spreading code is needed for use by a DCH channel.
