Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) configured to perform wireless communications in higher frequency bands (e.g., above 6 GHz) using a fallback scheme is provided. The WTRU includes a receiver configured to receive, in a time transmission interval (TTI), at least one control signal and a first data signal using a first beam associated with a first beam identifier (ID) and a second data signal, subsequent to the first data signal, using a second beam associated with a second beam ID different from the first beam ID, such that one of the at least one control signal indicates the second beam ID; and a processor configured to switch a receive beam of the receiver from the first beam to the second beam based on the second beam ID to receive the second data signal.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) transmits concurrent channel state information (CSI) processing capability information to a base station. The capability information can take various forms, and is intended to constrain the base station in the types of CSI requests that can be made to the UE. For example, the UE may indicate different CSI processing capabilities for intra-CC and inter-CC cases and/or for different codebook types. The UE may also specify supported combinations of codebook types for concurrent CSI reporting. The UE may also specify maximum resources or weighting factors for different codebook types. The UE may further restrict the rank information it provides and use a priority rule for "dropping" CSI report data due to payload size restrictions. The base station may direct, or the UE may implement, improved utilization of CSI resources that are shared for multiple concurrent CSI reports. Minimum time requirements for CSI reporting may also be relaxed.

Abstract: Access points (APs) and methods thereon are disclosed. A method implemented in a wireless access point (AP), the method comprising:
receiving, via a multiple user-multiple input multiple output (MU-MIMO) channel, a first LTF sequence from a first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) and a second LTF sequence from a second WTRU, wherein the first WTRU and the second WTRU are capable of MU-MIMO operation, the first LTF sequence comprises a first plurality of LTF symbols corresponding to a first row of entries of a matrix, and the second LTF sequence comprises a second plurality of LTF symbols corresponding to a second row of entries of the matrix; and
estimating the MU-MIMO channel based on the first LTF sequence and the second LTF sequence.-

Abstract: In providing feedback to an eNB in an LTE network for downlink scheduling and link adaptation, a UE issues a channel state information (CSI) report that includes a channel quality index (CQI). The reported CQI should include all UE receiver processing capabilities, including NAICS (network assisted interference cancellation and suppression) capability to cancel and suppress interference. Described are measures that may be taken to provide more accurate reporting of CSI by a terminal with NAICS capability.

Abstract: A Spatial Multiple Access Uplink for Wireless LANs is generally described herein. A novel FD-MiMAC, protocol leverages full duplex functionality at the Access Point, can be incrementally deployed with current 802.11 Access Point and client devices, can be easily implemented by client devices in a distributed and contention based manner, and pairs users in uplink MU-MIMO to enhance system performance. A method for spatial multiple access uplink in a wireless local area network comprises announcing, by an Access Point (AP), its available remaining antenna capability, receiving, by the AP, a packet header frame transmitted by a winning client uplink contender, allocating, by the AP, uplink resources for the winning client uplink contender and immediately announcing its remaining antenna capability, and transmitting, by the AP, at the end of a winning client's transmission burst, an Acknowledge-to-All frame, whereby other clients may simultaneously restart contention for transmission of next frames.
