A ship rudder is disposed behind a propeller at a stem of a ship to control a movement direction of the ship. The ship rudder is divided into an upper blade and a lower blade on an axis of the propeller. Leading edge parts and trailing edge parts of the upper and lower blades are twisted at a predetermined twist angle on the axis of the propeller to be biased towards a rotational incoming flow induced from the propeller and to form an asymmetrically dislocated part. The leading edge parts of the upper and lower blades include a rudder bulb formed around the axis of the propeller to surround the asymmetrically dislocated part and including a thrust fin formed at either side of the rudder bulb. In the trailing edge parts of the upper and lower blades, portions of the asymmetrically dislocated part adjacent to the axis of the propeller in a vertical direction are cut at a constant tilt angle. The cut portions of the upper and lower blades are connected to each other via a tilt scissors plate mounted on surfaces of the cut portions to secure structural rigidity of the rudder.

Disclosed herein is a method and apparatus for processing natural gas composed of various hydrocarbon components for transportation of the natural gas to a demand side without separation of the hydrocarbon components, such that the natural gas can be used by consumers after being separated into the hydrocarbon components according to the needs of the demand side. The apparatus includes a storage tank; and a hydrocarbon liquefied gas mixture accommodated in the storage tank. The mixture contains hydrocarbon components composed of methane, ethane, propane and butane, and is produced by liquefying raw natural gas without changing the relative ratio of methane, ethane, propane and butane in the raw natural gas immediately after extraction from the gas well. The method and apparatus can be applied to floating marine structures.

The propulsion apparatus for an LNG carrier comprising a boil-off gas re-liquefaction apparatus for re-liquefying boil-off gas generated in LNG storage tanks to return re-liquefied boil-off gas back to the LNG storage tank comprises a single main diesel engine, a propulsion shaft separably connected to the main diesel engine, and an electric motor for propulsion separably connected to the propulsion shaft and supplied with power intended for operation of the boil-off gas re-liquefaction apparatus.

Disclosed is a ship fuel oil switching system for switching a type of fuel oil, which has been used as fuel for an engine, to another type of fuel oil as fuel for the engine. The ship fuel oil switching system comprises: a supply portion for supplying fuel oil; a circulation portion for receiving fuel oil from the supply portion and circulating the same; and a control portion for controlling the supply portion and the circulation portion. The supply portion comprises multiple tanks for storing different types of fuel oil. The engine receives fuel oil from the circulation portion. Fuel oil that remains after being used by the engine is recirculated through the circulation portion. The control portion controls the flow rate of fuel oil discharged from each of the multiple tanks, thereby adjusting the mixing ratio of fuel oil sent to the engine.
