摘要: Systems, methods, and devices for improved cooling of an implantable blood pump are disclosed herein. The implantable blood pump can include: a pump housing defining an internal volume and including a wall defining a blood flow conduit extending through the pump housing; a rotor including a magnet and located within the blood flow conduit; a magnetic core located in the internal volume and extending circumferentially around the blood flow conduit and the rotor, which magnetic core terminates proximate to the wall; a controller located in the internal volume; and a thermal conductor contacting and preferentially thermally connecting the controller and the magnetic core, wherein the thermal conductor is electrically nonconductive.

摘要: Embodiments include Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs) with clips that help hold a cannula to the VAD. In some embodiments the clip embraces a cannula that has been placed around a cannula connector. In further embodiments an additional clip connects the first clip to the VAD housing preventing the first clip from slipping. The clip and additional clip may form a single piece. Further embodiments include a blood pumping sac located inside a cavity in the VAD forming one or more air chambers between the sac and the cavity walls, and an airflow channel leading from the air chambers to an airflow port allowing the sac to be evenly pressurized and depressurized. Still further embodiments include one or more purge devices that assist in removing bubbles from the VAD and helping connect cannulas to the VAD. Additional embodiments include a torqueable wrench to facilitate use and proper sealing of the device.

In einer Vorlöseposition greift der Rasthaken (21) zumindest teilweise in die Rastöffnung (11) derart ein, dass zumindest ein Teil des Rasthakens (21) durch die Rastöffnung hindurchragt und die Rastnase (22) von der Umrandung der Rastöffnung (11) gelöst ist. In einer Freigabeposition ist der Rasthaken (21) außerhalb der Rastöffnung (11) angeordnet ist. Dabei ist das Betätigungselement derart ausgebildet, dass eine Betätigung des Betätigungselements (12) den Rasthaken (21) und/oder die Rastöffnung (11) von der Vorlöseposition in die Freigabeposition bewegt.
