The backing sheet (5, 25) is fixed to the first or second sheet portion (12, 13, 32, 33) and inverting the first and second sheet portions (12, 13, 32, 33) such that the face of the backing sheet (42, 43) is directed outwardly. Each fastener (2, 3) protrudes outwardly from each aperture (8, 28) and the backing sheet (5, 25) lies between the first and second sheet portions (12, 13, 32, 33).

    摘要： The invention relates to a fastening element for an end area of a first strap of an item of corsetry, particularly of women's undergarments, which is to be fastened to a second strap of the item of corsetry and which has an number of strap plies of which at least one strap ply has a fastening part such as at least one hook, one eye or the like. The aim of the invention is to improve the comfort of wear. To this end, the invention provides that, for a fastening element of this type, a padding for improving the comfort of wear is provided between two strap plies. This padding is attached to at least one of the strap plies by joining it near the lateral edges of the fastening element. When the fastening element is in use, the fastening is located, at least in part, between strap plies of the fastening element.

Rungs (35) spaced from one another along the strap are attached to the first side (34), and a hook (36) is attached to the second side (37). The hook (36) is engageable with each of the rungs (35), the sensitiveness of the fastener being determined by the selected rung (35) to be engaged by the hook (36). The two sides of a brassiere strap are coupled by pulling the first and second sides (34, 37) towards each other such that the one hook (36) slides over the upper surface of the rungs (35), selecting a desired rung (35) for the hook (36), and engaging the hook (36) with the selected corresponding rung (35) along any region of the length of the selected rung (35). A method for assembling such a fastener is also disclosed.
