摘要: A method for inhibiting hair growth in mammals using compositions containing FP receptor antagonists (e.g., prostaglandin F analogs that are block activation of the FP receptor). The compositions can be applied topically to the skin and/ or hair. The compositions can arrest hirsutism or hypertrichosis, reverse hirsutism and hypertrichosis, and further prevent hair growth. These compositions can also be used to protect hair from chemical or radiation- induced alopecia or hair loss. These compositions can also be used to inhibit pigmentation of the hair or skin.

摘要: Provided is a method for reducing the miscellaneous tastes of a glycosyl hesperetin composition. The glycosyl hesperetin composition comprises as glycosyl hesperetin α-glycosyl hesperidin and either or both of hesperidin and 7-O-β-glucosyl hesperetin. The method comprises a step of contacting said glycosyl hesperetin composition with an inorganic reducing agent to reduce the miscellaneous tastes.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method based on proton NMR technique to differentiate genuine and spurious Hand-rub formulations. This method identifies and estimates all four components present in WHO-recommended Hand-rub formulations. Further, this method also identifies the presence of non-recommended/additional components present in WHO-recommended Hand-rub formulations. The method described in this invention utilizes experimental parameters and derived equations to quantify all four components in just fifteen minutes without using any organic solvents.
