摘要： A pallet having no nails in its construction comprises a pair of metal (preferably steel) bearers (10) of rectangular cross-section, between which two linear arrays of planks or slats (25) extend. Each bearer has an inner wall (21), an outer wall (23), an upper wall (20) and a lower wall (22). The ends of the planks or slats are positioned in respective openings (11) of linear arrays of openings formed in (i) the corner formed by the inner wall and the upper wall and (ii) the corner formed by the inner wall and the lower wall, of each bearer. Slots (26) in one face of each plank or slat near each end thereof locate each plank by receiving the inner wall edges of respective openings of the bearers. The natural resilience of the timber of each plank or slat, combined with choice of the dimensions of the openings in the bearers, ensures that the pallet will be rigid. The planks or slats may be of softwood.

摘要： The invention relates to an air freight pallet (1) consisting of a light metal plate (2) trimmed around the edges with a light metal hollow profile (3) and connected by rivets (4) to this hollow profile (3). The light metal hollow profile parts (3) of the air freight pallet (1) have miter-cut sections (11) at the four corners. The miter joints are interconnected in a shear-resistant manner. To avoid welding on the miter joints of the light metal hollow profiles (3) while ensuring a connection which absorbs shearing forces, insert parts (12) are inserted in a non-retractable manner in the cavities (5) of the light metal hollow profiles (3) in the region of the miter joints. The insert parts act as corner connections and make a welded seam superfluous, because they establish a connection between the profile parts which is free from tilting or lever moments.

摘要： This invention relates to a loading pallet. Conventional pallets of wood show deficiencies with respect to durability and service life. In order to eliminate these deficiencies and also other ones involved with conventional wood pallets, according to the present invention a pallet with a load-carrying platform of corrugated sheet metal is proposed, which platform (3) is supported at its opposed edges by supporting beams (4) of substantially U-shaped cross-section, which beams extend perpendicularly to the corrugations (2) and are formed integral with the platform by folding the metal sheet three times substantially perpendicularly, so that its free end portions (10) form the inside of the respective supporting beam and constitute supporting legs for the platform spaced from the outer edges thereof, and said end portions (10) are locked relative to the platform in a substantially vertical position and have between themselves a free space beneath the platform which permits the insertion of the lift forks of a truck from one side or the other.
