The server receives input flow stream parameters (415) from a remote client computer.     摘要: An apparatus (150) and method (300) for determining a density compensated flow rate of a material flowing through a vibrating conduit. Signals are received from sensors (105, 105') affixed to the vibrating conduit (103A, 103B). An uncompensated flow rate and the density of said material is then calculated from the signals. The calculated density is then compared to a threshold density. If the calculated density surpasses the threshold density, the density compensation factor is determined by inserting said uncompensated flow-rate and said calculated density into a two dimensional N order polynomial equation relating density to flow rate error data wherein N is greater than 1. If the calculated density does not surpass the threshold density, the density compensation factor is determined by inserting said uncompensated flow rate and said calculated density into a linear equation relating density to flow rate error data. The density compensated flow rate is then dmpensated flow rate.

    摘要: A system for calibrating a drive signal applied to a driver affixed to a conduit to cause the driver to apply a force that vibrates the conduit in a desired mode of vibration. The calibration is completed by first developing a mathematical model of the apparatus and then using the model to mathematically calculate a proper drive signal voltage. The development of a model of the dynamics and calculation of the drive signal voltage are completed by vibrating the conduit, measuring the vibrations of the conduit, detecting physical characteristics of the apparatus from the measured vibrations, and determining a drive signal that causes the driver to oscillate the conduit in a desired mode of vibration responsive to determining the physical characteristics of the apparatus.

    摘要: A single tube Coriolis flowmeter having a flow tube (901) and balance bar (902) vibrated in-phase opposition. Material flow through the vibrating flow tube induces Coriolis deflections in the flow tube which, via brace bars (913), induces in-phase Coriolis like deflection in the balance bar. A balance bar resonator (908) coupled to the balance bar is excited to vibrate in a rotational mode out of phase with respect to the balance bar. The vibration of the balance bar resonator increases the accuracy of the flowmeter output data by 1) increasing meter flow sensitivity by applying torque to the balance bar to reduce its in-phase Coriolis like deflections; 2) by applying torque to the flow tube via the balance bar to reduce shaking of the flowmeter; and 3) causing the flowmeter to have a flat calibration factor with respect to changed in material density by the provision of: apparatus (913) that changes the vibrational amplitude ratio of the flow tube and the balance bar in response to said detection of a change in material density; apparatus (909, 913) that changes the material flow sensitivity of the Coriolis flowmeter in a first direction in response to a change in vibrational amplitude ratio: apparatus (909) that alters the vibrational amplitude of the balance bar resonator to change the material flow sensitivity in a second direction in response to a change in resonant frequency; the changes in flow sensitivity in the first direction and in the second direction are effective to achieve a flow calibration factor of the Coriolis flow meter.
