摘要: Method and apparatus defining bi-metallic process connections for a Coriolis flowmeter that are metallurgically bonded to form a sealed structure without the use of an O-ring or other elastomeric seal. The process connections comprise a first metal metallurgically bonded to a dissimilar metal to form a sealed process connection. The bond between the first metal and the dissimilar metal is outside the process material pathway so that the process connections in conjunction with the flowmeter form a flow path enclosed by a single metal.

摘要: A method (1000) for manufacturing a straight tube Coriolis Flowmeter. The method (1000) of this invention provides a process for connecting a flow tube assembly (150) including a balance bar (102) and a flow tube (101) to at least two points inside a casing (103). The process provides an inexpensive way to use localized heat to affix the flow tube assembly to the two points. The use of localized heat reduces damage caused by expansion of components caused by heat as well reduces damage to electrical components in the casing (103).
