摘要: The invention relates to a method for message transmission between devices, comprising:
- storing a first message received from a first device (A) through internet, said first message being intended for a second device (B); and
- after a positive determination that a short-range wireless connection is established with said second device (B), forwarding the first message to said second device (B) through said short-range wireless connection.
The invention provides a simple and wise solution to transmit a message between two devices in case there is no internet connection available for the second device.-

摘要: This application provides a packet processing method and a gateway device. The method includes: A first gateway device receives, by using a first link, a first one-arm BFD echo packet returned by a network device, where the first one-arm BFD echo packet includes identification information, and the identification information is used to uniquely identify a second gateway device. The first gateway device determines, based on the identification information, to forward the first one-arm BFD echo packet to the second gateway device. The first gateway device sends the first one-arm BFD echo packet to the second gateway device. The network device is multi-homed connected to the first gateway device and the second gateway device. The network device is connected to the first gateway device by using the first link, and the network device is connected to the second gateway device by using a second link. The first gateway device and the second gateway device form a multi-active gateway. According to the method provided in this application, efficiency of detecting, by using a one-arm BFD echo session, whether the network device is normal in a VXLAN multi-active gateway scenario is improved.

摘要: The present disclosure is a decentralized Software Defined Network (dSDN) which runs individual dSDN controllers at each router in the network, disseminating network state via an inter-router communication protocoll. In some examples, the dSDN is an underlay and is coexistant with an out-of-band software defined network (SDN) control plane, thus achieving a unified architecture that applies across both overlay and underlay. In both the overlay and the underlay, path computation is based on global state, such as a complete view of a network connectivity graph and traffic demands. An end-to-end path that a packet takes may be determined by a localized computation that is run at a single node, such as an SDN controller in the overlay or a head-end router in the dSDN underlay. The network may be partitioned into domains and the same approach may be applied within and across domains.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed for reporting diagnostics data by a first network device to a cloud-based Wide Area Network (WAN) assurance system, responsive to the first network device detecting a communication issue with the cloud-based WAN assurance system. For example, the first network device detects an issue with sending telemetry data to the cloud-based WAN assurance system via a first communication path. In response, the first network device determines a second network device that has connectivity to the WAN assurance system. The first network device sends diagnostics data to the second network device along a second communication path for forwarding to the cloud-based WAN assurance system. The cloud-based WAN assurance system receives the diagnostics data from the second network device. The cloud-based WAN assurance system controls the second network device to remediate the first network device based on the diagnostics data.
