Emulsion surfaces of 3D stereoscopic and normal photographs are handled by incorporating means for effecting developing treatment and drying after emulsion surfaces are selected or means for selectively reversing paper. The difference in developing treatment time between 3D stereoscopic and normal photographs is dealt with by providing means for effecting switching between long and short transfer lines in the developing section in such treatments as development, bleaching and fixing and stabilization. Both of an exposing table and a lens or only a lens are made movable so as to permit printing of 3D stereoscopic photographs, or enable switching between printing lenses for normal and 3d stereoscopic photographs. In a suction type exposing table, a mechanism is adopted in which a suction force is changed suitably for normal and 3D stereoscopic photographs, respectively. The processing capability for 3D stereoscopic photographs is improved by provision of a mechanism in which paper is distributed to two lanes or more. Since the automatic printing and developing device of the present invention is characterized as described above, and also has a function of automatically processing 3D stereoscopic photographs in addition to a conventional mini-lab function of processing normal photographs, it is possible to handle different types of paper and film.

Also disclosed is an apparatus for delaminating the laminar sheet structure having at least one rotatably mounted roller (40) with an axial slot (52) in its peripheral surface for receiving the marginal portion of the sheet of lesser stiffness so that the sheet may be wound upon the roller while the sheet of greater stiffness is separated therefrom, and a method of delaminating the structure by the apparatus.

A device for producing a picture such as a printer and a copying machine being capable of obtaining a high quality color picture at a low price. The device comprises a continuous photosensitive member (9) having microcapsules each containing a photosensitive material and a color material on a supporting body, an exposing device (7, 8...) for exposing the photosensitive member with light, a heat developing device (20) comprising a heating means (21) which is brought into contact with and separated from the photosensitive member, a pressure-transferring device (30) which pressing a transferring member (12) and the photosensitive member laid on the transferring member 12), and a carrying device for carrying the photosensitive member. The photosensitive member unexposed yet is prevented from suffering from heat by blocking heat. Also, the heat developing, pressure-transferring and carrying device are so configured respectively as to be changeable from a heating to a non-heating state, from a pressing to non-pressing state and from a forward to backward direction of carrying the photosensitive member, and vice versa. When producing a picture, the heat developing and pressure-transferring device are set to be in the heating and pressing states respectively and the photosensitive member is carried in the forward direction. When completing the producing of the picture, the heat developing and pressure-transferring device go to the non-heating and non-pressing states respectively and the photosensitive member is carried in the backward direction.

A pressure applicator for fixing or developing images on print media is described wherein a relatively small pressure applying surface, such as the surface of a rotatable pressure wheel, engages the print media to apply pressure to the print media. The pressure applicator may be mounted for translation with the shuttling of an ink jet print head. The pressure applicator may also be passed in a multiple overlapping fashion over the print media to uniformly treat images on the media. The pressure applicator wheel may also be mounted for translation or shuttling by a mechanism operable independently of the mechanism for shuttling the ink jet print head. Single or multiple pressure applicating rollers may also be used. An arrangement of plural fixed position pressure applicating wheels is also disclosed.
