Emulsion surfaces of 3D stereoscopic and normal photographs are handled by incorporating means for effecting developing treatment and drying after emulsion surfaces are selected or means for selectively reversing paper. The difference in developing treatment time between 3D stereoscopic and normal photographs is dealt with by providing means for effecting switching between long and short transfer lines in the developing section in such treatments as development, bleaching and fixing and stabilization. Both of an exposing table and a lens or only a lens are made movable so as to permit printing of 3D stereoscopic photographs, or enable switching between printing lenses for normal and 3d stereoscopic photographs. In a suction type exposing table, a mechanism is adopted in which a suction force is changed suitably for normal and 3D stereoscopic photographs, respectively. The processing capability for 3D stereoscopic photographs is improved by provision of a mechanism in which paper is distributed to two lanes or more. Since the automatic printing and developing device of the present invention is characterized as described above, and also has a function of automatically processing 3D stereoscopic photographs in addition to a conventional mini-lab function of processing normal photographs, it is possible to handle different types of paper and film.
