    摘要: The connection of multiple meshes formed by electrowelded rods with wires, staples or similar means so as to form a gabion causes deformations when filled with natural stone or any type of rubble. In addition, connecting the short or long side meshes and the base mesh by bending the ends of the rods to form a "U" or "Z" prevents gabions from being fitted one on top of another, with small gaps separating gabions which generate instability when multiple gabions are stacked to form a wall. The invention overcomes these problems using staples which are positioned so as to connect the meshes while allowing certain degree of movement there between, covering the meshes and leaving some clearance, thereby forming flexible connections.
