摘要:
The invention relates to an antimicrobially active peptide comprising the dermcidin protein or a fragment of dermcidin, preferably from the C-terminal domain.
摘要:
The invention relates to monoclonal antibodies, or fragments thereof, for isolating and/or identifying at least one cell population which is selected from the group comprising haematopoietic stem cells, neuronal stem cells, neuronal progenitor cells, mesenchymal stem cells and mesenchymal progenitor cells. In this connection, the antibodies, or fragments thereof, bind to an antigen which is the same as that bound by an antibody which is produced by the hybridoma cell lines CUB1, CUB2, CUB3 and CUB4, which were deposited in the DSMZ under the numbers DSM ACC2569, DSM ACC2566 and DSM ACC2565, on 14.08.2002, and DSM ACC2551, on 12.07.2002.
摘要:
The invention relates to the use of phosphotyrosine (P-Tyr) for protecting biological material from cell-damaging factors. The invention further relates to a cosmetic composition and to a cultivation medium containing P-Tyr.

The invention concerns a retina implant comprising a surface (28) which abuts a retina (12). The surface (28) is provided with electrodes (35) for stimulating cells (27) in the retina (12). The electrodes (35) are controlled by visible light (21') impinging on the retina (12) such that an electrical stimulus (41) is exerted by the electrode (35) on the cell (27). The implant (13) is provided, preferably over a large area, with a photovoltaic layer (30) which is effective for invisible light (25'). The stimuli (41) are switched locally using the voltage generated by the photovoltaic layer (30).

The invention relates to the utilization of a peptide for the protection of cells in connection with an in vivo and/or in vitro treatment with chemical agents. Said peptide comprises a modified form and/or optionally a modified fragment of a Bowman-Birk protease inhibitor (BBI). The invention also relates to the utilization of nucleic acid for the protection of cell in connection with an in vivo and/or in vitro treatment with chemical agents, wherein the nucleic acid comprises a sequence segment coding for the at least one peptide mentioned above.
摘要:
The invention relates to a method for selecting measured eye position data which is suitable for further processing, from a stream of measured data associated with at least one eye. Said data relate to a proband. The data stream is supplied by an eye position measuring device within a certain time interval. The measured data are initially stored. Individual data from the data stream which occur within a predetermined window range are then combined to form clusters. Each cluster is allocated to a group respectively, the first group having the cluster with the temporally first measuring data and the remaining clusters being allocated to further groups according to the chronological order of the measured data. Finally, the group containing the most measured data is selected as suitable for further processing. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the inventive method.

A coating material for prostheses is characterized such that it is made of an organic polymeric material which forms a solid composite with the material of which the prosthesis is produced, and that the organic polymeric material is chemically modified such that a growth of bone cells thereon is increased with regard to the prosthetic material.
摘要:
The invention concerns a peptide with radio protective effect that comprises a modified form and/or, optionally, a modified fragment of the Bowman-Birk-Protease-Inhibitors (BBI).
