    摘要: This invention provides a screen apparatus having an enhanced capacity for separating foreign matter from fibers of an acceptable quality in paper-making material. The screen apparatus S comprises: a sealed casing 1 having a paper-making material supply port 1a, a refined paper-making material discharge port 1b positioned above the paper-making material supply port 1a and a foreign matter discharge port 1c positioned above the refined paper-making material discharge port 1b; a screen 2 for dividing the interior of the sealed casing 1 into a first chamber 1A and a second chamber 1B and for separating foreign matter in the paper-making material, the screen being of cylindrical shape with end portions both open, the screen having circular holes or slit-like openings on a side face thereof and which screen is stood within the sealed casing 1 in such a way that a direction of height thereof faces a vertical direction;
    a rotor 7 disposed inside the screen 2 within the first chamber 1A and having an agitating member 7a for agitating the paper-making material within the sealed casing 1; and a water supply passage 10 mounted onto the sealed casing 1 so that a water spouting port 10a opposes the top end face 7T of the rotor 7.

    摘要: A screen apparatus is formed of a tank for receiving a papermaking material, a cylindrical first screen for partitioning the tank into a first chamber and a second chamber, an annular second screen disposed in the first chamber, and a rotating member disposed in the first chamber. The first screen has a closed end at one side, an open end at the other side, and a plurality of first openings in a circumferential portion thereof. The annular second screen has second openings in a plate portion and a large opening at the center thereof. The annular second screen is disposed adjacent to the first screen at the side of the closed end, and the rotating member faces the large opening of the second screen and the closed end of the first screen. Also, the rotating member includes first agitating members facing the second screen, and second agitating members facing the second screen. When the papermaking material is supplied to the first chamber, foreign materials contained in the papermaking material are removed by the first and second screens, and refined papermaking material is discharged through the second chamber. Clinging and crushing of the foreign materials can be prevented.

    摘要: A double-disc refiner of the invention is formed of a driving shaft having one free end, a rotating disc fixed on the driving shaft and having a first rotating blade provided on one surface and a second rotating blade provided on the other surface thereof, and a crushing chamber surrounding the rotating disc, and first and second a material supply passages. On an inner wall of the crushing chamber, a first stationary blade is disposed to face the first rotating blade, and a second stationary blade is disposed to face the second rotating blade. An end surface of the one free end of the driving shaft is located in the first paper material supply passage, and includes projections to closely face a portion of the first paper material passage to prevent the material flowing through the first material supply passage from entering between the portion and the projections. Therefore, on the end surface of the driving shaft, pressure caused by the material is reduced to equalize spaces between the respective rotating and stationary blades.
