摘要： A manual mixing apparatus includes an elongate member extending along a longitudinal axis from a first end to a second end. The elongate member includes a first surface and a second surface separated by an opening or a flow passage therebetween. In one embodiment, the first surface and the second surface are concave so as to direct fluid towards the opening or flow passage. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a flow separating structure located in relationship to a flow passage such that fluid flowing through the flow passage is divided. In yet another embodiment, the apparatus includes a paddle portion and a conical surface coupled to the paddle portion.

One or more spring motors are employed. A cord spool, in the preferred embodiment, is coupled to one of the spring drums to serve to wind the cords to cause the blind to be raised or lowered, simply by manipulation of the bottom bar of the blind system. Due to the spring forces, the system compensates for the increasing weight on the cords as the window covering is raised and for the decreasing weight as it is lowered.

摘要： A venetian blind slat or coil of venetian blind slat substrate, such as aluminum, is first coated with a conductive primer. An anti-static conductive coated is applied thereover. The resultant coated finished blind slat and its associated spaced horizontal slats have sufficient conductivity to resist airborne dust particle accumulation with reductions in dust accumulation of from 36% to about 82% being attained, as compared to colored paint insulative coating on standard venetian blinds. An inorganic, inert conductive additive such as stannous oxide is employed in the anti-static conductive coating, resulting in coating conductivities of less than 10 ohms per square and, in a preferred embodiment, from about 10 ohms per square to 10 ohms per square.

摘要： A head rail for a mini blind system is disclosed. The mini blind system includes a plurality of pivotable slats supported on flexible ladders that are connected to basket assemblies mounted in the head rail. The head rail includes a pair of sidewalls and a bottom wall. The bottom wall includes flat wall portions and a recessed channel which strengthens the head rail and allows for full pivotable movement of the uppermost mini blind slats. The head rail further includes cross-shaped apertures extending through the recessed channel and configured for locating and receiving the basket assemblies of the present invention. The head rail apertures, as well as the bottom openings on the basket assemblies, include unobstructed cut-out portions which facilitate pivoting of the slats to a position which is very close to a vertical position.
