摘要: Provided is an air conditioner capable of securing the necessary static pressure even when the arrangement of air inlets is such that the suction resistance tends to increase. The air conditioner includes an indoor heat exchanger (4), a bellmouth (13) disposed behind the indoor heat exchanger (4) such that its opening (14) through which air passes faces the indoor heat exchanger (4), and a front panel (22) that covers the front side of the indoor heat exchanger (4). The air conditioner is provided with a casing (2) having air inlets (8 - 11) and air outlets (6, 7), and a turbofan (5) that generates an air flow in which air is sucked in from the air inlets (8 -11), passes through the indoor heat exchanger (4) and the opening (14) of the bellmouth (13), and is blown out from the air outlets (6, 7). The air inlets (8 -11) are provided in the front panel (22) and/or around thereof, and are located substantially outside the opening of the bellmouth (13) as seen from the front. The total suction area of the air inlets (8 -11) is equal to or greater than 15% of the projected area of the indoor heat exchanger (4) as seen from the front.

摘要: In order to maintain the temperature of a radiant heat exchanger at a high temperature during a heating operation in which both warm-air heating and radiant heating are carried out, this air conditioner is provided with a refrigerant circuit having a compressor, an indoor heat exchanger, a radiant heat exchanger, a pressure reduction mechanism, and an outdoor heat exchanger. The indoor heat exchanger is disposed inside an indoor unit in such a manner as to face an indoor fan, and the radiant heat exchanger is disposed on the outer surface of the indoor unit. The air conditioner has a control means for increasing and decreasing the frequency of the compressor on the basis of the temperature difference between an indoor target temperature and the indoor temperature. In addition, the air conditioner is capable of: a warm-air heating operation in which a refrigerant is flushed through the indoor heat exchanger, without flushing the refrigerant through a radiation panel, to carry out warm-air heating; and a radiant heating operation in which the refrigerant is flushed through the indoor heat exchanger to carry out warm-air heating, and the refrigerant is flushed through the radiation panel to carry out radiant heating. The control means is characterized in that, during the warm-air heating operation and the radiant heating operation, the frequency of the compressor is increased or decreased at different times.

In an air conditioner (1), a first check valve (42) is disposed between a radiant heat exchanger (14) and an open/close valve (41). When the open/close valve (41) is closed, less liquid refrigerant exists between the open/close valve (41) and the first check valve (42). Even when the liquid refrigerant spontaneously evaporates and the internal pressure is increased, the internal pressure is not increased enough to push and open the open/close valve (41). Occurrence of chattering is thereby prevented.

As a result, there can be provided an air conditioner having humidifying function which allows the humidifier to be installed without enlarging the floor space of the outdoor unit and which allows a trap for treating water in the humidified-air transportation piping to be easily installed.
