Thereby, data of the secondary SIM card can be dumped out so that some of the data can be used by a primary SIM card when the secondary SIM card is locked out while the primary SIM card is not locked out. By SIMLocking the secondary SIM card through use of the primary SIM card, short message data and short message sender data in the secondary SIM card are dumped to the mobile phone for use by the primary SIM card. This helps a user to switch services from one operator to another without substantially affecting use of the mobile terminal, which represents conveniences for the user.
