A polypropylene resin composition for use in automotive inner and outer trims, comprising: 50 to 85% by weight of a crystalline polypropylene (A) having a melt flow rate (at 230°C under a load of 2.16 kg) of 7 to 70 g/10 min, 2 to 16% by weight of a hydrogenated block copolymer (B) which is obtainable by hydrogenating at a hydrogenation ratio of at least 90% an aromatic vinyl/conjugated diene block copolymer, containing 22% by weight or less of aromatic vinyl polymer block(s) and which has a melt flow rate (at 230°C under a load of 2.16 kg) of at least 5 g/10 min, 0 to 16% by weight of a hydrogenated block copolymer (C) which is obtainable by hydrogenating at a hydrogenation ratio of at least 90% an aromatic vinyl/conjugated diene block copolymer, containing at least 25% by weight of aromatic vinyl polymer block(s) and which has a melt flow rate (at 230°C under a load of 2.16 kg) of 10 g/10 min or less, 0 to 10% by weight of an aromatic hydrocarbon copolymer (D), 0 to 10% by weight of a crystalline polyethylene (E), 0 to 10% by weight of a soft ethylene/α-olefin copolymer (F), and 5 to 25% by weight of an inorganic filler (G) having an average particle size of 0.1 to 3µm.

A resin composition having excellent paint coatability comprising:
(A) 50-80 weight % of a multi-stage polymerized propylene-ethylene block copolymer consisting essentially of (i) a propylene homopolymer portion, (ii) a propylene-ethylene random copolymer portion, and (iii) an ethylene homopolymer portion, said propylene-ethylene block copolymer being characterized by the requirement that:
(a) said propylene-ethylene random copolymer portion (ii) has a number-average molecular weight of 20 X 40 4 or more and a weight-average molecular weight of 60 X 10 4 or more; (b) a content of ethylene is 60 weight % or more and a content of said ethylene homopolymer portion (iii) is 40 weight % or more, both based on the total amount (100 weight %) of said propylene-ethylene random copolymer portion (ii) and said ethylene homopolymer portion (iii); or (c) an intrinsic viscosity of said propylene homopolymer portion (i) is 0.9-1.2 dl/g, an intrinsic viscosity of said propylene-ethylene random copolymer portion (ii) is 4.0 dl/g or more, and an ethylene content of said propylene-ethylene random copolymer portion (ii) is 30-70 weight %;
(B) 20-40 weight % of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer elastomer; and (C) up to 20 weight % of an inorganic filler.

A polypropylene resin composition for use as a motorcar-trimming material comprises 95 to 85% by weight of an ethylene-propylene block copolymer (A) whose ethylene-propylene copolymer part has an average intrinsic viscosity ([η]) ranging from 7 to 12 g/dl and 5 to 15% by weight of an inorganic filler (B) having an average particle size ranging from 1 to 4µm, wherein the composition has a melt index (MI) in the range of from 15 to 40 g/10 min, a flexural modulus (FM) ranging from 2300 to 3000 MPa and a low-temperature brittle point (LB) of less than 30°C and wherein the values FM and LB of the composition satisfy the following inequality: FH > 8.4 × LB + 2300. The polypropylene resin composition is excellent in the balance between rigidity and low-temperature brittle point and in flowability.

A polypropylene resin composition comprising: a polypropylene, 50∼70% by weight; a polystyrene-ethylene/propylene-polystyrene tri-block copolymer containing 15∼40% by weight styrene, 3∼15% by weight; a polystyrene-ethylene/butene-polystyrene tri-block copolymer containing 15∼40% by weight styrene, 3∼15% by weight; and a talc, 10∼30% by weight; wherein the proportion of the above-mentioned polystyrene-ethylene/propylene-polystyrene tri-block copolymer with respect to the total amount of the above-mentioned polystyrene-ethylene/propylene-polystyrene tri-block copolymer and the above-mentioned polystyrene-ethylene/butene-polystyrene tri-block copolymer is 20∼80% by weight; is a material with a superior balance of physical properties, having high rigidity, superior impact resistance and tensile elongation, and in particular, being excellent for use as a material for solid molded articles such as parts for automobiles, and the like.
